what is argentine tango?

the Argentine Tango art form is the ultimate partner dance!

interestingly, Argentine Tango doesn’t have a basic step or one set technique, making the dance completely improvisational every step of the way. What Tango relies on are concepts such as being in the moment, active listening, non-verbal communication, and patience. When the leader and the follower truly embrace these concepts, they are able to bridge the divides caused by the differences in technique and uncertainty of the steps to co-create an intimate dance that gives off the illusion of them moving with one shared body and heart but four separate legs.

in its core, Argentine Tango is a hug that moves to the music without any preconceived ideas of where the movement will take us.
